Yorùbá Keyboard- Best Ways to install it on your Android.

Installing Yoruba keyboard App on your Android phone is a very easy thing to do. There are a number of applications on Google Play Store that you can download to be able to use the Yorùbá Tonal marks right on your Android. Maybe you are trying to prepare a Yorùbá related document on your phone, or you are trying to write Yoruba poetry, these Writing softwares will be very useful for you. We will be listing a number of them below with links for you to download them on their Google Play Store page! Let’s go.

1. Download Google keyboard on Google Play Store.

After downloading, go to your Android settings and set the language to “ENG-YOR”. That is from English to Yoruba. And set the keyboard as your main keyboard in your settings. Click the link below to download; this link!

So, when you want to type and the keyboard comes up, you’ll see the space bar with “English” written on it. So, long press the space bar. A pop up will show for you to choose language. Choose Yoruba keyboard and you are set! To use the tonal marks, like ẹ́, lóng press the letter “e” and you will see different options of “e” with tonal marks. Choose the one you want!

2. African Keyboard by Dominik M. Ramik.

You can also use this African Keyboard as well. It has all the tonal marks present in Yoruba language too. Just search for it on Google Play and download. You will have to go to your settings after downloading to set the keyboard as your main keyboard. But it’s highly rated by users on Google Play and is just 2.1MB in size.
