Mo tí gbaná means ” I have caught fire”. This is the literal or surface meaning of the word.
Mo tí gbaná could have a deeper meaning to it. Like when popular Nigerian musician Olamide used the expression as the title of his song and in his lyrics. He did not mean that he had caught fire. He could have meant that he has “blown” or gained fame.
1. Mo tí gbaná, ọwọ mí tí lọ sókè. (I have “blown”, my hands have been lifted.)
