Meaning of L’óbátán.

L’óbátán is a Yoruba slang and common expression.

L’óbátán means “That is how it has finished”.

Li/Ni means, ” ‘That is how’ / ‘Is’ “.

O means “It”

Ba means “has”

Tan means “Finished”.

Example:

1. L’óbátán! Mọtò mí tí tákú.

Meaning: “That is how it has finished! My car has broken down.”
